Established by Suncheon City in 2012, this municipal museum preserves the legacy and modern history of the Presbyterian Church in the United States missionaries who were active in the Honam region since the 1890s. Based on the history of the mission base gathered around the Maesandeung area, it showcases over 850 mission artifacts. The L-shaped chapel, which separated the worship spaces for men and women according to the gender segregation rules of Confucian society, and a 1921 Ford Model T car are the representative highlights.
