Located in Jogok-dong, Suncheon, Jukdobong Park is an urban park overgrown with arrow bamboo, a material used for arrows, and camellia trees. It was named because its peak looks like an island floating on the sea. It holds historical monuments such as the Palmatap Pagoda, which honors the upright official Choi Seok of the Goryeo dynasty, and the Baegubi Stele of the magistrate Gang Pil-ri, who cared for the people, along with the old Yeonjaru Pavilion and Hwanseonjeong Pavilion.
Following the 'Youth Deck Path,' where camellia trees and arrow bamboo harmonize, leads to 'Gangnamjeong Pavilion,' a three-story octagonal observatory that is excellent for enjoying the panoramic view of the Suncheon cityscape and its romantic night view.
