The path of metasequoia trees stretching straight for about 500m along Jeongancheon in Gongju was created in 2011 when abandoned farmland was transformed into an ecological park. The natural shade tunnel created by 192 trees provides beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons, and is highly popular especially as a photography spot. Next to the path, a vast lotus wetland spreads out, creating a spectacular view in the summer, and recently, a red clay path where you can feel the energy of the earth barefoot was created, providing a new healing course.
There is a dedicated bicycle lane running parallel to the walking trail, making it good for enjoying riding, and it is drawing more attention as it is known as a drama filming location.
