Yudalsan Mountain, called the symbol and sacred mountain of Mokpo, is 228m above sea level, and from the summit, you can take in the spectacular view of the Dadohae Sea and the city of Mokpo at a glance. It features strange rocks and bizarre stones spread out like a folding screen, enough to have been called the 'Gaegolsan' of Honam since ancient times, and unique peaks such as Ildeungbawi and Ideungbawi Rock form a harmony. The Republic of Korea's first outdoor sculpture park was created here and exhibits over 100 works, and you can also encounter attractions with historical meaning, such as the Lee Nan-young Song Monument and the Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
At night, every peak is illuminated to present a beautiful night view, and in April, the Yudalsan Mountain Flower Festival is held, attracting large crowds. It is a healing space in the city where you can simultaneously experience nature, culture, and history while walking along the themed trail.
