The Mokpo Natural History Museum is a place where you can see the magnificent 4. 6 billion years of Earth's natural history at a glance. Since reopening in 2004, it has housed over 20,000 precious specimens and materials, including Korea's first original carnivorous dinosaur egg nest fossil, and globally rare fossils of Prenoceratops and Conchoraptor.
Equipped with massive dinosaur skeletons, various mineral, animal, and plant specimens, as well as a 4D stereoscopic theater, it is particularly popular among family visitors with children. The wide lawn and outdoor sculptures in front of the museum provide a resting area, and a single admission ticket allows you to visit the adjacent Culture and Arts History Museum, Living Ceramic Museum, and Children's Sea Science Museum together, offering an even richer experience.
