The Mokpo Dancing Sea Fountain was established in 2010 as the world's first super-large floating sea music fountain, installed in the sea off Peace Square, and has established itself as a marine tourism landmark in Mokpo. The fan shape symbolizes Mokpo Port, and the three circular nozzles symbolize Samhakdo Island, capturing the identity of the port city of Mokpo. In April 2024, it completed renovation work on its old facilities and was newly decorated, presenting a fantastic night view where giant water streams soaring up to 70m, music, colorful lights, and lasers blend together.
In particular, the special event that introduces the stories and requested songs of the audience on the water screen is highly popular as a proposal venue, providing a special experience to make precious memories.
