Offering a special experience as if walking on the water of Andongho Lake, Sunseong Susang-gil Waterway originates from the old place name 'Seonseonghyeon' of the Joseon Dynasty. Bearing the painful history of the Yeanhyeon area submerged by the construction of Andong Dam, this place is a space to reflect on the memories of the submerged village. In the middle of the path, a rest area is created at the former site of Yean Elementary School, equipped with an organ, desks and chairs, and black-and-white photos, allowing visitors to look back on the past.
The scenery is particularly beautiful in the morning with rising water mist or in the evening with the setting sun, attracting many visitors throughout the four seasons, and the photo zone at the submerged school site is highly popular as a symbolic place connecting the past and the present.
