Gosanjeong Pavilion, located under the sheer cliff of Gasonghyeop in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is a pavilion built in 1564 by the mid-Joseon scholar Geum Nan-su. It is a place frequently visited by Lee Hwang and his disciple Geum Nan-su to see the outstanding scenery of Cheongnyangsan Mountain, and several poems and hanging boards left by Lee Hwang praising the beauty of this place have been passed down. The bizarre rocks and cliffs along the Nakdonggang River, the blue waterways, and the dense pine forest harmonize with Gosanjeong Pavilion, boasting a landscape like an ink-and-wash painting all year round.
Recently, it has become known as the ferry crossing filming location for the popular drama 'Mr. Sunshine', and is receiving much love as a Scenic Site and an attraction with historical and cultural value.
