Samchingi Coastal Trail is a historic walking path originating from Samcheonjin, which was a naval base during the Joseon Dynasty. Originally an embankment to prevent coastal erosion, it is currently loved as a flat coastal walking and bicycle path spanning about 4km from Tongyeong Marina Resort to Hansan Marina Hotel. The pedestrian and bicycle paths are safely separated, so anyone of all ages can walk with peace of mind.
As you walk along the path, you will encounter various attractions such as the legendary Samchingi Bokbawi Rock, Suryuk Beach, and Tongyeong Lighthouse Fishing Park. Feel the blue scenery of the waters off Hansando and the historical breath of Hansandaecheop together.
