Located on Naksan, the eastern mountain of Hanyangdoseong, this park was called 'Naktasan Mountain' because its terrain resembles a camel's back, or 'Taraksan Mountain' as there was a royal ranch.
Located on Naksan, the eastern mountain of Hanyangdoseong, this park was called 'Naktasan Mountain' because its terrain resembles a camel's back, or 'Taraksan Mountain' as there was a royal ranch. It was a scenic spot where literati enjoyed the arts during the Joseon Dynasty, but was damaged during urbanization. Through a restoration project, it was reborn in 2002 as a park where history and nature harmonize.
You can stroll along the Hanyangdoseong fortress wall path and look down at the wide-open panoramic view of downtown Seoul, and it is especially loved as a fantastic night view spot featuring sunsets and the night sky.
