During the Incheon port opening period in 1901, Jemulpo Club is a historic building built for social gatherings of foreigners residing in Incheon. Designed by Russian architect Afanasy Seredin-Sabatin, it was a luxurious space featuring a two-story brick house with a social room, library, billiard room, and even a tennis court. It has since been used for various purposes, including the Imperial Japanese Veterans Association, a United States Armed Forces officers' club, the Incheon City Council, and the Municipal Museum, preserving the turbulent modern and contemporary history of Korea.
Restored in 2007, it currently operates as a storytelling museum highlighting the beauty and historical value of modern architecture. Also famous as a filming location for the drama 'Goblin', you can experience the international aspect of Incheon during the port opening period in an exotic atmosphere.
