Located southeast of Geojedo Island, Oedo Botania is a marine botanical garden that boasts an exotic landscape, living up to its name as a 'paradise of plants. ' In 1969, the couple Lee Chang-ho and Choi Ho Suk incidentally stayed on the island, which led them to purchase it. After over 30 years of careful cultivation, it was reborn into the beautiful garden it is today.
The exotic landscaping reminiscent of the Mediterranean and over 3,000 species of rare plants harmonize to offer a variety of attractions throughout the four seasons. It began to receive great love from domestic and foreign tourists after becoming known as the final filming location of the drama 'Winter Sonata. ' Venus Garden, modeled after the backyard of Buckingham Palace, Lise House, and Stairway to Heaven are considered must-see courses.
