Yeosu Goso-dong Mural Village is a historical place originating from Gosodae, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin commanded operations during the Imjin War. It was named the '1004 Mural Village' (Cheonsa Mural Village) because the length of the mural alleyways reached 1004m in the early stages of its creation, and it developed into a full-fledged tourist attraction with the Yeosu Expo. Currently, the mural path, spanning 10 sections and a total of 1650m, is decorated with diverse themes such as the history and culture of Yeosu, and the biography of Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
In particular, the 'Huh Young-man Street', created with the characters of cartoonist Huh Young-man, is very popular among visitors. You can enjoy the pleasure of taking pictures against the backdrop of cute murals, appreciating the refreshing scenery of the sea off Yeosu, Dolsandaegyo Bridge, and Geobukseondaegyo Bridge unfolding between the alleys, and exploring unique cafes and historical ruins throughout the village.
