A dense pine forest stands right behind the white sand. Out on the clear water, the uninhabited island of Jodo completes the beautiful scenery. Down on the sand, you are welcomed by a six-meter-tall statue of two lovers made from thousands of pipes. Next to it is a sign shaped like two Korean letters, which are the initials of Sokcho. Take your time strolling along the beach, where the scent of pine mingles with the sound of the waves.

This is a place best enjoyed by walking around and taking it all in for yourself, rather than simply following a guide. Just listen to these stories as pleasant background music, and enjoy the moment.
