About

Opened in 1909 as the first port in Sokcho, Daepohang Port is a port that has served as a gateway to the east coast. In the past, it gained fame along with the revitalization of Seoraksan Mountain tourism, and gathered popularity for fresh raw fish and Sokcho's unique delicacies, squid sundae and fried shrimp. Today, a pleasantly refurbished fish market and fried food alley, as well as a breakwater and a red lighthouse great for appreciating the sea, are situated here, allowing you to enjoy vibrant food and the East Sea scenery at the same time.
