It is a four-season tourist attraction in Gyeongju that modernly recreates Donggung and Wolji Pond of the Silla period. It was established to carry on the legacy of Donggung and Wolji Pond, which embraced the brilliant history of Silla and was Korea's first zoological and botanical garden. The interior of the botanical garden, built as a giant glass greenhouse, is divided into 5 themes such as a palm garden, foliage garden, flower and tree garden, aquatic garden, and tropical fruit garden, presenting a variety of plants.
Right next to it is the Gyeongju Bird Park, where you can directly interact with birds, making it especially popular among family travelers with children.
