Nakhwaam Rock is a rock cliff about 50m high standing along the Baengmagang River north of Busosan Mountain in Buyeo. It is a place where a sad legend is told that court ladies threw themselves into the Baengmagang River when Sabiseong Fortress of Baekje fell to the Nadang-yeonhapgun. Originally called Tasaam, it later came to be called Nakhwaam Rock by comparing the falling court ladies to beautiful flower petals.
Above the cliff is Baekhwajeong Pavilion, built to commemorate the vengeful spirits of the court ladies, and the characters for 'Nakhwaam' written by Song Si-yeol are engraved on the rock cliff.
