Buyeo Gwanbuk-ri Relics is a UNESCO World Heritage site presumed to be the royal palace site of the Baekje Sabi capital period. It was named Gwanbuk-ri because it was located north of the Buyeohyeon government office during the Joseon Dynasty, but through excavation surveys, the reality of the ancient royal palace was revealed as the sites of large pavilion buildings, an elaborate stone-built pond, road networks, and drainage facilities were uncovered. Instead of magnificent palace buildings, a wide lawn, foundation stones, and traces of elaborate earthen walls remain.
By strolling along the excavation site, you can feel the majesty of the Baekje Sabi Wanggung Palace from 1,400 years ago and the breath of a planned city.
