Dolsan Bridge, connecting Namsandong and Uduri in Dolsan, Yeosu, is a 450m-long cable-stayed bridge completed in 1984. At the time of its completion, it was planned as the nation's first cable-stayed bridge along with Jindodaegyo Bridge, and was built with 62m-high piers and a special construction method to allow the entry of large vessels. Thanks to this bridge, Dolsando was connected to the mainland, invigorating the distribution of local agricultural products like Gat-kimchi, and it was reborn as a popular tourist destination with various tourist facilities such as hotels, cafes, and cable cars.
After landscape lighting that changes into over 50 colors was installed in 2000, it has been greatly loved as an iconic night view spot of the Yeosu Night Sea, and the night view seen from Dolsan Park is considered the highlight. You can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yeosu by taking a cruise ship under the bridge or walking directly along the pedestrian-only sidewalk.
