About

Haenglidan-gil Street is an emotional alleyway formed along the walls of Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Thanks to being a restricted development zone, the frameworks of old buildings have been preserved, retaining their unique charm. It has emerged as Suwon's representative hot place, with rooftop cafes, workshops, and prop shops that have sensuously remodeled old bathhouses, rice mills, and hanoks.

You can enjoy a unique retro vibe by admiring the fortress view from an open cafe rooftop and taking a walk along the antique fortress wall illuminated after sunset.
