About

Located in the Towanggol Valley of Seoraksan National Park, Biryong Falls is a Scenic Site where a powerful stream of water about 16m high echoes through the valley. It was named Biryong Falls because the rough sound and beautiful appearance of the falling water resemble a dragon flying up to the sky. Situated halfway between Yukdam Falls and Towangseong Waterfall, it boasts a beautiful rock landscape formed by the uplift and erosion of granite terrain over a long period.

In winter, the large stream of solid ice creates another spectacular view.
