About

An ecological stream about 11km long that crosses downtown Seoul, it is a resting space loved by both citizens and travelers. Overcoming the painful history of being covered by an overpass in the past, it was restored in 2005 and reborn as a nature-friendly space with clear flowing water. The 22 bridges boast their own different personalities, and the art pieces installed along the waterway and the lighting that brightens the night blend together to create a beautiful landscape.

Colorful festivals and events held every season add vitality to Cheonggyecheon Stream, offering a special experience where the history and present of Seoul coexist.
