The Bank of Korea Money Museum is a Renaissance-style building, designated as Historic Site No. 280, constructed in 1912 as the headquarters of the Bank of Joseon. In this place where the history of the central bank of the Republic of Korea breathes, you can see currency relics from Korea and countries around the world, the lifespan and manufacturing process of currency, and the flow of the national economy and money at a glance.
Various exhibition spaces are created, such as the former Governor's Office, the Monetary Policy Board meeting room, a model vault that recreates an actual vault, and an experiential learning room, providing an interesting financial culture experience along with historical and architectural value.
