About

It is a pedestrian-centered street created by utilizing the site of an abandoned railway in downtown Gangneung. Serving as a path connecting KTX Gangneung Station and Jung-ang Market, it is decorated with the theme of the poignant love story of Gangneung's folktale 'Wolhwarang and Yeonhwa'. Along the street, cute shops and food booths are lined up, and especially in the evening, colorful lights are turned on, creating a romantic atmosphere.

Equipped with various sculptures and rest areas, it is a great space to enjoy a walk and feel the present and past of Gangneung at the same time.
