Located in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea, The War Memorial of Korea is a space established to remember past wars, learn lessons, and protect peace. It comprehensively covers the history of wars that occurred on the Korean Peninsula, from the Three Kingdoms period to Han-gukjeonjaeng, and modern overseas deployments. In the 6 indoor exhibition rooms, vast artifacts and records are vividly displayed, while in the outdoor exhibition area, large weapons such as fighter jets, armored vehicles, and missiles actually used in combat reveal their majesty.
Beyond a simple artifact exhibition, it is an educational venue that reminds us of the horrors of war and the preciousness of freedom, as well as a meaningful place to commemorate those who sacrificed for the country.
