Born to commemorate the achievements of the 1988 Seoul Olympic, the Soma Museum of Art is an urban cultural resting place that organically harmonizes with the landscape of Mongchontoseong. The building, constructed of exposed concrete and wood, embraces natural light through large windows, breaking down the boundary between indoors and outdoors. The route naturally connects from the indoor exhibition rooms, featuring the Nam June Paik Video Art Hall and Soma Drawing Center, to Ollimpikjogak Park.
Following the promenade, you can enjoy art and nature together while appreciating over 220 masterpiece sculptures.
