Opened in January 2020, Geoje Botanical Garden is famous for 'Jungle Dome', the largest dome-shaped greenhouse in Korea. The massive Jungle Dome, covered with about 7,500 pieces of glass and standing 30m tall, offers an exotic space where over 300 species and 10,000 tropical and subtropical plants grow. The viewing begins by going up an escalator, and a 10m-high artificial waterfall and Seokbujak Gyegok, which is modeled after Zhangjiajie in China, welcome visitors.
Passing through the mysterious Cave of Light and going up to the upper floor, an observatory and skywalk unfold where you can get a panoramic view of the inside of the Jungle Dome. In particular, the giant bird's nest photo zone, the 300-year-old Heukpansu, and the Cactus Garden gathered with various cacti are must-see attractions.
