The moment you step onto the beach, the fine sand slips right between your toes. This bright white shore stretches for half of a traditional distance known as a simni. Because of this, it has long been called Myeongsaori, a name that means a five-ri stretch of fine sand. A cool ocean breeze blows along the walking path through the coastal pines, carrying a deep forest scent. Take a stroll and look out toward the horizon at the rocks known as Oribawi and Simnibawi.
