Shin Dong-yeop Literature House is a space built behind the poet's birthplace to honor the literary spirit of the engaged poet Shin Dong-yeop. Designed by architect Seung H-Sang with the motif of the poem 'On the Mountain, On the Hill', it is built so that the inside and outside of the building communicate, and about 2,000 handwritten manuscripts, letters, and relics are preserved here. In the outdoor yard, the installation art 'Flag of Poetry' by artist Lim Ok-sang flutters in the wind, and in the inner quarters of the birthplace hangs a bronze signboard engraved with the handwriting of Shin Young-bok, allowing visitors to feel the poet's fierce life and literary legacy together.
