About

Starting as Gyeongseong Susan in 1927 and moving to its current location in 1971, Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market is the nation's largest inland seafood wholesale market where seafood delivered directly from all over the country gathers. The modernized building opened in 2016, providing visitors with a more pleasant and hygienic viewing environment. At the live fish and shellfish retail stores on the 1st floor, you can watch the dynamic haggling of merchants and seasonal seafood, while the dried seafood section and salted seafood shops on the 2nd floor are also popular.

The greatest highlight is the gourmet experience of tasting the fresh seafood purchased on the 1st floor cooked on the spot at the raw fish restaurants on the 2nd or 5th floor.
