This is a culture and art street created to honor Lee Jung-seob, a genius painter loved by Koreans. It is a place where you can feel his short but intense artistic spirit in Seogwipo, where he evacuated and stayed with his family during the Han-gukjeonjaeng. Walking along the street, you can find the simple thatched-roof house where he briefly lived and the Lee Jung-seob Art Museum where you can see his representative works.
On both sides of the street, cute workshops, galleries, and unique cafes are lined up, making it a great place to take a walk while gaining artistic inspiration. As the cultural center of Seogwipo's old downtown, it will present a time full of art and romance.
