Located in Chimsandong, Junggu, Daejeon, Ppuri Park is the only theme park in the country themed around 'hyo (filial piety)' and 'family names,' opened in 1997. As you pass Manseonggyo Bridge over Yudeungcheon Stream and enter the park, over 240 sculptures for each family name artistically expressing the origins and history of each clan catch your eye. Inside the park, there are various convenient facilities and resting spaces well-established, such as the Korean Genealogy Museum where you can grasp the lineage and history of families at a glance, a grass plaza, Samnamtap Observatory, and a forest bathing area.
At night, colorful landscape lights turn on, presenting a wonderful night view that is completely different from the daytime.
